A Painter’s Coat is an item typically owned by Artists that allow beings that are not Living Art to enter large paintings at will. Inside, they can traverse through the painting’s landscape, and into other paintings as well. This space is known as an Artscape.

One should be careful not to remove the Painter’s Coat inside the painting, or they will become lost within the painting, being sealed in paint until rescued by another wearer of a Painter’s Coat or Living Art. If one is lucky enough to be removed from a painting, they will still acquire Canvas Departure Syndrome.
