Humans

Humans are a complex social species exhibiting a unique synthesis of features inherited from both Shape People and Animal People. Like Shape People, humans possess fleshy bodies and flatter faces, but they also inherit distinct traits from Animal People, such as body hair, defined noses, and auricle-shaped ears. They grow hair on their heads, have two eyes, and one mouth, and are characterized by bipedal locomotion and the use of two arms for tool manipulation.
Humans are mammals with skin-covered bodies and natural body warmth, akin to Animal People. They display significant physical diversity, with skin tones ranging from pale pink to very dark brown, and hair colors typically in natural shades of black, brown, red, blonde, or white. Human genetics are highly dominant, and interbreeding between humans rarely results in offspring bearing distinctive animalistic or shape-related traits. The average adult human height falls between five and six feet.
Biology and Genetics
Humans possess a highly specialized nervous system, complex bipedal locomotion mechanisms, and social behaviors evolved to maximize group survival. Their pigmentation diversity arises from melanin production. Tool usage, language, and abstract thought are universal among human populations. Their bodies demonstrate an even distribution of hair follicles, although cultural practices often modify appearance.
