Animal People

Animal People are primarily characterized by their fur-covered bodies, except for marine creatures, reptiles, and birds. They usually exhibit humanoid appearances with limited animal-like features such as tails, pawpads, or wings. Fully animalistic forms are rare.

They possess opposable thumbs and individual fingers, occasionally toes, aiding dexterity. Genetically, they often inherit traits from Shape People rather than humans. Birds and Canines are the most common races among them.

Animal People are mammals and not related to Wild Animals, making crossbreeding impossible and unethical. However, some innate animal instincts persist even generations after visible traits have diminished.

Biology & Genetics

Animal People share a mammalian genetic foundation, though it is distinct from baseline humans. Despite animal traits, they are a separate evolutionary line. Their offspring, when bred with other groups, often retain physical or instinctual markers for several generations. Their DNA also exhibits minor adaptations tied to agility, sensory enhancement, and thermoregulation.
